It is an American semi-biographical comedy-drama film starring Robin Williams, Monica Potter, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Bob Gunton. The story is about a doctor, who treats patients using humor. The medical community does not appreciate his methods, while the actual patients, medical professors and hospital nurses appreciate his work.

The Diving Bell And The Butterfly (2007)

It is a French biographical drama film directed by Julian Schnabel and written by Ronald Harwood. A true story of Elle editor Jean-Dominique Bauby who suffers a stroke and has to live with a paralyzed body; the only way he can communicate is with his left eye.

The Last King of Scotland (2006)

Directed by Kevin Macdonald, it is the adaptation of Giles Foden’s novel of the same name published in 1998. The film stars James McAvoy as a Scottish doctor Nicholas Garrigan who becomes the personal physician and close confidante of Dictator Idi Amin (Forest Whitaker).

Concussion (2015)

It is an American biographical sports drama film directed by Peter Landesman starring Will Smith, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alec Baldwin, and David Morse. The story is about a doctor who tries to convince the authorities and public about a football-related head trauma in players.

Contagion (2011)

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, it is a thriller film about the discovery of a deadly virus and the struggles made for its prevention. It stars Matt Damon, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Marion Cotillard as the leads.

The Fugitive (1993)

It is directed by Andrew Davis and stars Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. The story is about  Dr. Richard Kimble who is falsely charged with killing his wife. After escaping prison, he gets multiple events on his way.

It is an American psychological thriller film directed by Steven Soderbergh, starring Rooney Mara, Jude Law and Channing Tatum on the lead role. The story is about a woman who is prescribed an experimental drug by psychiatrists.
