For some staying healthy may equate to staying away from diseases. But people who wants to gain some muscle and lose weight can do it by exercising various part of their body. Running from leg and thigh muscles. Pull-ups for biceps, deltoids, rhomboids and core. And other types of exercise. Though people also visit different types of institutions for better help like the gym. But if you are not an outdoor person and want to train inside your home you buy gym equipments to help you get better. So today in this article we are gonna talk about gym equipment and how to use them.

Dumbbell and Kettleball set

When you think Gym the first image that comes to your mind is a dumbbell. Dumbbells are pieces of equipment used for weight training. The most commonly seen dumbbell has two sets of heavy disks attached to each side. Though there is a pot-type dumbbell that looks like a ball with a handle on top of it. Pot type is also known as Kettleball.

The dumbbell can be used one at a time or use two dumbbells at once. You should use weights that you are comfortable with (not too heavy nor too light). You use dumbbells for joint-isolation exercises. Biceps curls, Chest flyes, shoulder raises, etc.

This is simple equipment used to do chin-ups and pull-ups. It is not hard by itself to make. All you need is a bar hanging is a reasonable height that can sustain your weight. You can use that bar to do as a pull-up frame or bar.

Treadmill

A treadmill is an equipment where you run on top of it and not move forward. It is a type of cardio equipment. The speed of the treadmill is adjustable according to the user. As it is used to walk, jog or run the main muscles trained in this equipment are the thighs, calves and glutes.

Stationary Bicycle

A stationary Bicycle is similar to the treadmill to trains your leg muscles like thighs, calves and glutes. So it can be used as an alternative to the treadmill. It is basically a bicycle that is fixed to the ground and the user pedals on it like they would in a bicycle.

Conclusion

The gym equipment helps you while doing different types of exercise and building a mission. But if the reason for gym is to lose weight you can try some yoga poses that are known to help with weight loss. If you don’t use gym equipment correctly it can leave you with sore muscles. If you don’t want to build muscle and stay healthy there are other ways you can achieve that like visiting a yoga center, spa centers, etc.
