The IOF-PC has also assisted the IOF Dean’s Office in establishing the Doctoral Program in Forestry. It also offers short-term national and international training and workshops in forestry and related areas, in addition to regular academic programs.

2. Institute of Forestry Hetauda Campus

The next top B.SC Forestry College in Nepal is the IOF Hetauda Campus. The Institute of Forestry, Hetauda Campus (IOF-HC) is Nepal’s first and only institute dedicated to forestry and natural resource management education and training.
In 1947, the Nepal Forestry Institute was established under the Department of Forest in Singh Durbar, Kathmandu. It relocated to Supping (Bhim Phedi) in 1957 and then to Hetauda in 1965 to take advantage of the Indian Co-operation Mission’s improved physical facilities (ICM).
